Sunday morning’s Champions League final is one of those events that is definitely worth staying up for, and I can’t think of a better final line up than Borussia Dortmund Vs Bayern Munich. Both sides know how to play attractive soccer, both sides attack repeatedly and both know how to entertain.

Bayern Munich are strong favourites at $1.80, however I like the look of Borrussia Dortmund to pull it off. Bayern have a habit of choking in the big final, and I can see it happening again.

Dortmund are $4.50 to win in 90 minutes, and $2.87 to lift the cup. I like the look of both those odds.

Whilst Dortmund will be missing the very impressive and Bayern bound Mario Gotze, I don’t think it will blunt them too much, and in fact might be a blessing in disguise if it encourages Jurgen Klopp to make more of his wingers and attack Bayern down the flanks, where Robben and Ribery offer almost no protection to Bayern’s full backs.

I’m also going to get involved with Borussia Dortmund +1 at $2.00, and two correct score bets, both at $15.00, namely Dortmund to win 1-0 and 2-1.

My final tip for the game is that the first player to be shown a card of any colour will be Bayern’s oaf like centre back Daniel Van Buyten. Worth a few dollars at $13.00, as he is quite possibly the clumsiest player in German football.
