With the international friendly / World Cup playoff break firmly done and dusted, we return to our favourite European league and our free tips. It is time to make some money!

We’re now tipping each game, so you can be selective, or do as we do and back the lot of them!

You can also read our game by game review in our EPL Best Odds and Betting Guide section of our glorious website.

Everton v Liverpool
Liverpool have had a great start to the season, and have a terrific record against Everton in recent years. We are tipping Liverpool 2-0 at odds of $13.00.

Arsenal v Southampton
The surprise package of the season, Southampton have only conceded 5 goals all season, which is remarkable. As a unit they look solid and we think can hold off an Arsenal side that revels in possession, but can sometimes be a little toothless in attack. We tip the draw at odds of $4.00.

Fulham v Swansea
Fulham are really struggling, and we can’t see their season getting any better against an excellent Swansea side who at time play some magical football. We can Swansea winning this with ease and are tipping Swansea 3-0 at odds of $21.00.

Hull City v Crystal Palace
Hull are yet to drop a point at home this season, and Palace are yet to gain a point away from home! This should continue this weekend, and we are tipping Hull 2-0 at odds of $8.00.

Newcastle v Norwich
Newcastle will be buoyed by their recent wins against high flying Chelsea and Tottenham and in hosting Norwich they are playing the team with the worst defensive record away from home in the league. It wouldn’t surprise many therefore, given Newcastle’s recent history, if Norwich administer a beating to the Toon, however we don’t think so. We are tipping Newcastle 3-0 at odds of $15.00.

Stoke City v Sunderland
This is going to be a tight game between two teams that struggle to score. Home advantage and the improved footballing prowess of Stoke under Mark Hughes should be enough to see Stoke prevail against Gus Poyet’s new team. We are tipping Stoke 1-0 at odds of $6.50.

West Ham United v Chelsea
Sam Allerdyce must be pulling his hair out. The Hammers are the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde team, battering Spurs at White Hart Lane and yet losing at home to Stoke. One week they play great football, the next seem to revert to long balls punted up to the 87 year old Kevin Nolan. Chelsea themselves have flattered to deceive so far this season, but should win this encounter. We are tipping Chelsea to win 2-1 at odds of $8.00.

Manchester City v Tottenham
With all the focus on United’s struggle at the start of the season, City seem to have gone under the radar when it comes to a shockingly bad start. Whilst they seem incapable of getting a point away from home, even this die hard United fan cannot deny that they look impressive at home. Tottenham should be able to give City a game here, but despite having one of the best squads in the EPL, Spurs will yet again fall short, so we are tipping City 3-1 at great odds of $13.00.

Cardiff City v Manchester United
David Moyes – Difficult start – Not the Team they used to be – 3 wins on the spin – beating Arsenal – United are back. That basically sums up the last 11 weeks of EPL action at Old Trafford. Manchester United should continue with their resurgence and beat a struggling Cardiff side who have lots of backroom problems to deal with. We are tipping United 3-0 at odds of $11.00.

West Brom v Aston Villa
These games are usually draws, well the last 3 have been in any case! Reviewing each teams performances so far this season we can’t see anything other than a draw, albeit one with goals. We are tipping Draw 2-2 at great odds of $15.00.

There you go, fill your boots!

It’s been an interesting start to EPL season 2013 / 2014. Manchester United have already lost 3, Arsenal looked unbeatable until almost being beaten by West Brom, Tottenham looked like the new Chelsea until getting stuffed at home by West Ham, the old Chelsea don’t have a clue what their best team is and Man City flatter to deceive also. As for Liverpool..

Well as for Liverpool, they have no chance, do they?

Lets take a look at each team’s odds and we’ll recommend where your hard earned / won dollars should be going on.

Manchester City – currently the bookies favourites at stingy odds of $3.20. Whilst City have the best team on paper, they seem a little uncertain of their best starting 11. We can’t see City winning the Premier League this season, and the way they were swept aside by Bayern Munich highlights the huge gulf in class between them and the best teams in Europe. Don’t back City.

Chelsea – second favourites available at $4.00, are more likely to win the EPL than City. True, Mourinho doesn’t really have a reliable strike partnership, however Torres is looking better and with a huge wealth of attacking midfielders (Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Willian, Lampard) at the Special One’s disposal, we can see Chelsea winning the EPL. Back Chelsea.

Arsenal – third favourites at odds of $6.00, largely thanks to their remarkable turn around since the signing of Mesut Ozil. However, it is unlikely that a team can win the EPL based on the performances of just one player, so we think backing Arsenal is not a good bet. There is little point backing them each way, as their odds aren’t big enough for a decent return.

Manchester United – fourth favourites at odds of $7.00. being as ‘short’ as 7.00 when you’ve already lost 3 games is testament to United’s pedigree as winners. No-one would be surprised at all if David Moyes’ men put together a string of results that saw them climb up the table and claim the title. Apart from me that is. Having publically stated that they need 3 or 4 world class players, Moyes seems to be aiming for the 2014 / 2015 season, and United fans can consider this season as a development season. My tip here is to back United to win no trophies at odds of $1.53 (note the Community Shield doesn’t count)

Liverpool – available at odds of $8.00, if you are thinking of backing the Anfield outfit, don’t. True they have started well, however will soon fade and we can’t see them finishing in the top 4. Don’t back Liverpool.

Tottenham – available at odds of $13.00, now this is a bet worth making, albeit an Each Way one. Tottenham have a superb squad, right up their with the likes of City and Chelsea in terms of quality. Putting aside the blip of being Hammered by Sam Allardyce’s team last weekend (see what I did there?) Spurs are a cracking each way bet to win the EPL.
