EPL Week 31 West Ham United V Hull City Odds 27th March 2014

Both these teams could still be dragged into the relegation battle and a win here will go a long way to stopping that. West Ham suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Man Utd, but for a wonder goal and a defensive error, West Ham did not look out of their depth and had more than their fair share of chances to find the back of the net. Hull City secured a valuable 3 points against fellow strugglers West Brom with a 2-0 victory. Hull will take a lot away from that win and could make it 3 wins on the bounce away from home. The last 2 away matches have come against 2 teams deep in the relegation battle, and they have shown they can step up when it is most important. We fancy Hull at odds of $3.30 as they show they can preserve their premiership status.

EPL Week 31 Newcastle United V Everton Odds 26th March 2014

Newcastle left it to the last kick of the game as a late header from Cisse seen them pick up all 3 points in a smash and grab win over Crystal Palace. Everton made it 6 home wins on the bounce, despite Swansea threatening late on, Everton managed to hold on for all 3 points in a 3-2 win. Their away form is almost the opposite with only 1 win in the last 6, but when you consider they have played 4 of the top 6 in the last 6 matches, we can almost forgive the stats. Newcastle should be an easier prospect on the road, and this is one we think Everton will take all the beating in. We suggest Everton here at odds of $2.25

EPL Week 31 Manchester United V Manchester City Odds 26th March 2014

The midweek showpiece sees both sides of Manchester collide head on in what is sure to be a high tempo and possibly high tempered matchup. Man Utd’s season may well look over and done with as far as title hopes go, but they will take great comfort if they can but a dent in the city rivals hopes of taking the crown. Man City put to bed the disappointment of going out of 2 cups in as many weeks with a 5-0 win over Fulham, predicted by myself at odds of $15.00. The form book clearly says that Man City should win, but we all know that derby’s bring out the very best in the team’s, and one man that will be coming into this on a high will be Rooney after his fantastic goal from the halfway line the weekend. It’s not often Man Utd are 2nd favourite at home and they could well be the value bet at $3.00 in this feisty affair.

EPL Week 31 Arsenal V Swansea City Odds 26th March 2014

Arsenal suffered a humiliating 6-0 defeat to league leaders Chelsea the weekend. Many are writing off Arsenal’s hopes of a league title now, despite them being only 7 points behind Chelsea with a game in hand. Swansea’s defeat to Everton the weekend now means they have lost 50% of their matches so far this season, a far cry from last season when winning came easier. With home advantage, Arsenal should have the measure of Swansea and a comfortable win might just put them back in the title equation. We suggest Arsenal here at $1.44
