Brazil are still the early favourites in the World Cup betting markets having already qualified for next year's tournament in South Africa.

Saturday is packed with crucial qualification fixtures for a number of sides but the South Americans are already through with room to spare, topping their regional table.

World Cup odds at Centrebet show them as the 5.00 to win the competition, just ahead of Spain on 5.50.

England, who are also already through, are on 6.50, while Australia stand on 51.00 with the same bookmaker.

Argentina are the most successful side finding qualification a struggle, lying fifth in their group eleven points behind Brazil.

Diego Maradona's team went down 1-0 to Paraguay in their last qualification game and need a win against Peru on Saturday to get their campaign back on track.

Maradona has said divine intervention may be needed if his under-performing team is to seal their passage to South Africa.

"The Beard (God) saved me many times, I hope he saves me this time too," he said.

Argentina are the fifth favourites for next year despite their predicament, on odds of 12.00 with Centrebet and level with Italy and Holland.
