Only 5 matches to focus on this weekend, but plenty of value to be had in the odds markets.

Brisbane Broncos v Wests Tigers
Both these sides are in cracking form, and this match should be a stromer. With only 2 defeats between them in the last 10 games combined you would think the odds would be close, but that is not the case. West Tigers are far too short at $1.57 to win in Brisbane, which on the stats alone, make the home side a must bet. Indeed the Broncos only sit 2 points behind the Tigers. The bookies have priced this one incorrectly.

Sharks v Bulldogs
The Sharks are getting better, winning 3 out of their last 5, whilst the Bulldogs are sliding to the bottom of the ladder. Yet still the Sharks are available at $2.80 to win in the head to head markets, with The Bulldogs very short at $1.43. Go with the Sharks, the team in better form, plus 7 points on the handicap spread.

Raiders v Roosters
Two inconsistent teams meet at Canberra Stadium on Sunday in a match which is very difficult to call with any great confidence. Both sides have lost 3 of their last 5, and are split by only 4 points on the ladder.

Warriors v Eels
The Warriors have done us some great betting favours recently. Consistently under rated by bookmakers, the Kiwi side eventually got some luck at the business end of the game last week to get the 2 points. Parramatta are frustratingly difficult to sum up and tend to strike only when outsiders. This will be a tough game for the Eels in what are likely to be wet and windy conditions. This should be a close game, so take the Eels with 5.5 points start on the spread.

Dragons v Panthers
A top of the table clash on Monday night, tempered only by the lack of stars who will sit it out due to the Origin III game. Still, this should be a cracker for the viewers. The Panthers are flying up the ladder but this will be a tought test. the bookies have the Dragons at $1.48, which is fair. Penrith have lost 3 on the road so far this season whilst the Dragons are 7-1 at home. We fancy the Dragons to confirm their top of the table position.
