Pre Season Update:
Sunderland spent over half the season in the relegation zone last season but managed to perform a miracle in the closing weeks of the season which seen them maintain their place in the Premier League. At odds of $5.50, they are not quiet favourites to be relegated and the bookies are confident they can maintain their Premier League status this season. Although they did spend so long in the relegation zone, this was due to some exceptional runs in the cup competitions which seen them have several games postponed to the end of the season.
