Australia will lose their coach Tim Nielsen after the forth of the seven one-day internationals against England after it was announced he is to fly home to spend time with his family.

Following September 13, assistant coach Troy Cooley will take the reins as Australia look to rebuild their battered pride after losing the Ashes.

The ODI series begins on Friday when England take on Australia at The Brit Oval, and finishes at the Riverside On September 20.

Online cricket betting markets have England at 2.35 for the win with Australia at 1.60, both with Centrebet.

Cricket Australia operations manager Michael Brown said: "The Australian team has played back-to-back international cricket since September 2008 and looking at the busy schedule over the next 12 months, we believe it is the right time for Tim to take a break."

He is set to rejoin the squad in South Africa later in September for the defence of the ICC Champions Trophy.

Early odds see Australia at 5.00 for the trophy, with South Africa current favourites on 4.00.

Both of the scheduled Twenty20 games between England and Australia were cancelled due to rain, so the one-day series represent Australia's only hope of building momentum before the ICC Champions Trophy.
