Australia still Four Nations favourites after draw

 Rugby league odds on Australia clinching the Four Nations tournament have remained largely unscathed after their dramatic 20-20 draw with New Zealand on Saturday.

Betfair still has them on 1.28 to win the competition despite the tie at Twickenham Stoop, with the Kangaroos needing a late Cameron Smith try to salvage the draw.

Betfair had previously offered 21.00 for the draw on Saturday, while Australia were at 1.20 for the win with the same provider.

England opened their campaign with a win over France on Friday and are on 11.00 for the tournament, while New Zealand are at 6.40, having once stood around 9.00.

Following the dramatic draw at Twickenham Stoop, Australia coach Tim Sheens told the Press Association: "The one point keeps us in the running but it also makes next weekend's game very important to us.

"England have the win and we don't, so we need to beat them next Saturday. There's an element of pressure on us."

The Kangaroos next face England at the DW stadium and are odds-on to come away with the vital win, standing on 1.18 for the win while England are at 6.40.

Another Australian draw is at 30.00 with Betfair.
