Colombia are very short priced favourites at odds of just $1.80 to beat Greece in this Group C opener. The Colombian's finished second in the CONMEBOL qualifying, just 2 points behind Argentina so are likely to be a big threat in the 2014 World Cup. Whilst the absence of star striker Radamel Falcao is a worry and dents Colombia's chances of progressing quite as far as they would hope, they will be too strong for Greece.

Teófilo Gutiérrez is the joint favourite to open the scoring at odds of $5.50 however we are tipping Jackson Martinez also at odds of $5.50 to get his name on the World Cup score sheet first. We definitely won't be backing Greece's Mitroglou at odds of $9.00 and probably wouldn't back him if his odds were $90.00....
