Jockey Glen Boss has been confirmed as the partner for filly Clueless Angel for Saturday’s Carbine Club of WA Stakes.

Although most punters’ eyes will be focussed on the Railway Stakes, there is plenty of added interest in the 1400m run which provides the horse with a chance to possibly build for the Kingston Town Classic.

The three-year-old was scheduled to head for the paddock after a win in the Sky Racing WA Guineas last Saturday but she has performed so well trainer Lindsey Smith has opted to keep her going.

Smith said: “She is jumping out of her skin.

“I would not be taking any chances with her and the way she worked this morning she wants to keep racing.”

Boss will partner the horse on Saturday after Alan Kennedy committed to a ride on Inarticulate for Adam Durrant.

In other developments, Kasabian has been scratched from the main event of the Railway Stakes on Saturday at Ascot.

The four-year-old, trained by Darren McAuliffe, was pulled from the race and horse racing betting markets after swelling was discovered in a foreleg.
