The final 8 are looking pretty set after last weekend's games, and Collingwood have claimed their first minor Premier in donkey's years. So punters need to tread carefully as teams will be heading in to Round 22 with their own agendas as they try and peak at just the right time.

Geelong are probably the shortest priced AFL side for a single game ever at $1.02 to win at home to West Coast with Sportsbet. The latter can be backed with a monster handicap points start of 70.5 at $1.90. Not a game to get involved in from a betting sense.

Hawthorn v Collingwood however looks to offer some good value. The Pies will finish top whatever happens, but Hawthorn may have more of an incentive with a couple of positions still up on offer. They currently sit 5th in the AFL ladder, just 2 points behind Sydney and Fremantle. The Hawks are way too big at $2.55 against a Pies team that may rest players.

The Friday night game sees Fremantle v Carlton at the Subiaco Stadium. Freo are in 6th place, Carlton in 8th, so this should be a bit cagey, so we'll wait for the team news.

The 10 point gap between the Bulldogs in 4th and St Kilda in 3rd looks to be a defining one, as illustrated in the latest the latest 2010 AFL Grand Final odds and betting. Round 22 sees The Western Bulldogs v Essendon, and despite the Bulldogs problems, they are nothing compared to Essendon's. The Bombers were awful at home to Brisbane last Sunday, and we rate a fired up Bulldogs team the banker of the week at $1.92 with Sportsbet (minus 28.5 points on the handicap line).

Betting Tips for the remaining Round 22 AFL games:
Adelaide v St Kilda: Back the Saints to continue their march to the Grand Final at $1.45 with Sportsbet.
Brisbane v Sydney: Sydney look way too short in the betting, and The Lions looked full of confidence last week. Take Brisbane at an attractive looking $2.45
Richmond v Port Adelaide: Niether team having anything but pride to play for. Leave this game alone for betting purposes.
Melbourne v North Melbourne: Both teams have let themselves down somewhat after promising spells throughout the season. Take North Melbourne to edge it at $1.78 with Sportsbet
