AFL futures betting odds released for 2010 season

Posted on January 9th 2010 by TJ Dilfer

Last year's winners and runners up head the betting markets for the 2010 AFL season at joint favourite odds of 3.25. Closely followed by Western Bulldogs who are 6.50 in the latest betting released by Sportsbet.com.au.

Adelaide and Hawthorn follow at 9.00, Brisbane and Collingwood at 12.00, and Carlton at 23.00. Rank outsiders in the AFL betting are Melbourne at 151.00.

The ever dominant Victorians are a very short priced favourite (1.13) to be the Premier State. Followed by South Australia (8.00), Queensland (12.00), Western Australia (26.00) and New South Wales (51.00).

Sportsbet are offering quinella odds of just 6.25 for a repeat of the 2009 AFL final. Which is far too short. More interesting is the 10.00 for St Kilda to go one better than last year and beat Western Bulldogs in the final.
