Betting Guide to FootyTAB

Betting on the AFL with FootyTAB is great way to get involved with all the weekend’s football matches and below is a breakdown of the options available to get you started.


AFL Winners
Betting with AFL Winners means that you must select the winning team for each and every match of the premiership round, with one side in every game receiving a points start.


AFL Win
Betting with AFL Win means that you must nominate the winning team and margin of any AFL match.


AFL Margins
AFL Margins requires that you select the winning team and margin for each match, for this bet all points are disregarded.
You can also use Flexi betting on AFL margins, which means you can include as many selections as you want at an outlay to suit you and if you win you receive a percentage of the full dividend. (Note: Minimum 1% bet percentage required).


AFL Double & XTRA Double
Betting with AFL Double or Xtra Double requires you to pick the winning team and margin for 2 selected matches which will be selected by TAB each week to be part of the Double or Xtra Double.


AFL Half/Full Double & Half/Full Xtra Double
Betting with AFL Half/Full Double or Half/Full Xtra Double requires you to pick the leading/winning team and margin at both half time and full time in a selected match. TAB will select these matches.


AFL Quad
Betting with AFL Quad means that you must choose the winning team and margin for 4 selected matches. Again, each week TAB will select the matches that will form part of the AFL Quad.
Flexi betting is available on AFL Quad too so you have flexibility with your outlay, you can include as many selections as you want, just mark the total amount you want to spend and if you are successful you will receive a percentage of the full dividend. (Note: Minimum 1% bet percentage required).


AFL Quarter Quad
Betting with AFL Quarter Quad requires you to choose the leading team and margin at the end of each quarter in a selected match. Again, Tab will select the matches on which Quarter Quads will be offered.
Flexi betting is available on AFL Quarter Quad so you choose the outlay to suit you. You can include as many selections as you want, just mark the total amount you want to spend and if you are successful you will receive a percentage of the full dividend. (Note: Minimum 1% bet percentage required).


NOTE: AFL Tip7 and Tip8 have now been replaced with AFL Winners, plus another new bet type – AFL Margins has been added to the betting choices. AFL Margins has the potential for big dividends.
