Cummings believes So You Think could match Denman

So You Think trainer Bart Cummings has identified star colt Denman as the main rival for his charge in Saturday's $1 million Caulfield Guineas.

The three-year-old, trained by Peter Snowden, is looking for his seventh win in a row and drew a favourable barrier seven draw on Tuesday.

Denman is also still the firm betting favourite, on odds of 2.70 with IASbet, with So You Think standing on 8.00 having dropped from 10.00 earlier in the week.

Bart Cummings has six wins in the race and believes So You Think could win him a seventh despite the form of Denman.

"I think he is alright. His form has been outstanding so we'll see what happens." he said.

Betting for Saturday also has another star colt, Trusting, who will go from barrier 10, on 4.80.

Gai Waterhouse-trained Manhattan Rain is still the second favourite on odds of 6.00, while outside of the top four Starspangledbanner is on 11.00.

So You Think already has the Gloaming Stakes in the locker this Spring and was held from the group 1 Spring Champion Stakes at Randwick to appear in the Guineas.
