Sniper's Bullet is looking to run for a great double when he takes on the field in the Kingston Town Stakes.

Sniper's Bullet won a major race on Saturday when he ran well in the Railway Stakes on Saturday, winning in fine form.

Trainer Tracey Bartley is a little apprehensive about Sniper's Bullet and the chances in the upcoming race.

There is a clear reason for this, because there had not been a win for Sniper's Bullet for two and a half years prior to the Railway Stakes.

In the Railway Stakes last year, Sniper's Bullet ran for a second position.

The 1800m race at the Kingston Town venue is something that Bartley thinks is achievable.

Quoted by Perth Racing, Bartley said: "We were thinking about going back to 1400m the week later (in the Scahill stakes) and don't push him out to the 1800m, but I think he's pulled up that well that you've really got to consider it.".

The Kingston Town Classic runs on December 5, and Sportsbet has Sniper's Bullet on at 6.50 to win.
