St Kilda's AFL betting odds have them 'under the radar'

Media attention on Geelong and wet weather conditions could mean St Kilda have the advantage in this weekend's AFL grand final, tipsters have said.

Berfair's Nick Tedeschi has pointed out St Kilda "are sneaking below the radar, pressure free", even though they have been the form team of the year.

The site currently has St Kilda on 2.58 to win Saturday's showpiece at the MCG, while Geelong are the current favourites on 1.62.

St Kilda started around 2.25 with the bookmaker but have drifted following Geelong's crushing win over Collingwood.

Geelong started around 1.75 but their odds dropped dramatically after the victory over the 'Pies, then climbed to 1.60-plus.

Teseschi also pointed out the weather is expected to be wet and windy on Saturday, which combines to make "perfect conditions for the Saints high pressure defence to dominate in".

St Kilda have also overturned Geelong in the regular season and may hold a psychological advantage thanks to their surprise tag as minor underdogs.

Both teams have few injury concerns and the form book shows Geelong have lost once in the last five, compared to two defeats in the last five for the Saints.
