Sunday horse racing preview
Posted on November 15th 2009 by
Racing from Sunshine Coast is among the highlights of a relatively quiet Sunday on Australia's tracks.
Of note at Sunshine Coast is the 1000m NCP Bathroom Centres Class 5 Handicap, where trainer Peter Fleming has prepared Arhondas.
The same card includes the 2200m Ramtaps Class 6 Plate, with eight horses due to run and Jedi Starfighter and Mister Tivoli carrying top weights of 57kg.
Over at Bunbury there's the United Crane Hire Handicap over 2000m, and the 1080m United Crane Hire Reaching New Heights Handicap with $10,500 in the prize pot.
There's also action at Geelong, with 96 starters listed for the meeting, with the Thirsty Camel Anglesea Hotel Country Showcase among the highlights.
Here there are 10 runners, with Mick Price-trained Betty's Belle a possible favourite, with Peter Moody behind Rock Honey in the same race.
Lee Freedman is also represented with You're Beautiful, going from barrier four and with Dwayne Dunn in the saddle.
The same card has the $22,500 Thirsty Camel Waurn Ponds Hotel Country Showcase, with jockey Luke Nolen in the saddle on the Peter Moody-trained Saranah Gold.
