NRL: All The Odds For The End Of Round Four

Today, we’re going to have a closer look at the games that will bring home Round Four, and that will provide your entertainment for Sunday and Monday nights!
First up is a game that Rabbitohs fans will want to pretend isn’t a must-win for their side, but there will be plenty of them watching it through their fingers if it’s a close-run thing. Touted for great things in the 2014 season, the Rabbitohs just haven’t had the start that they or their fans would have been hoping for, looking forward to, and even expecting. The momentum from a great win over the Roosters has been squandered, but the Rabbitohs are a $1.36 bet to beat Canberra when the sides meet on Sunday. For their part, the Raiders won’t be happy, either, with their start to the season: an upset against Sydney wouldn’t hurt at all, of course – they’re a $3.20 bet…
Sunday night also features a clash between the two sides who have been winless so far in the 2014 season. It’s not as if the Knights and the Sharks haven’t been competitive – they have both been involved in very tight games against the two sides that are unbeaten in the first three rounds, the Storm and the Dragons, in fact – and in fairness both these sides have suffered horribly with injuries so early in the season. But the simple fact is that four losses in the first four games will leave one of these teams a long, steep hill to climb to be back in contention at the end of the season. The Sharks are getting odds of $2.70, while the Knights are the $1.48 favourites.
Finally, the round finishes with a clash between the Cowboys and the Titans on Monday night that sees the Cowboys as $1.60 favourites. Titans fans have had a rollercoaster season already – including a record loss to Wests Tigers in Round Two – but their side are sitting in 8th on the ladder and on two wins in the last three games, so if they can grab a win on Monday, they’re looking pretty good going forwards. The Titans are a $2.40 bet.
