April 24th, 2014 by TJ Dilfer

The NRL season might still be quite young, but things are starting to take shape for a few of the sides, and there’s plenty of work to do for a few more. Looking at the NRL odds after seven rounds of hard-fought games, it’s still the Roosters who carry the billing of favourites, but they’re joined at odds of $5.00 by Manly, who have won those odds on the back of a strong early season. At the other end of the scale are the Raiders, looking a long-shot that even their fans might not be tempted by at $81.00.

And it’s the Eagles and the Raiders who will be Read the rest of this entry »

World Cup Odds: Spotlight On Mile Jedinak

April 24th, 2014 by G Waldorf

The name Mile Jedinak is one that will be familiar to Socceroos fans: he’s settled pretty well into the side since his debut in 2008, and you’d have to say that he will likely be a key figure in Ange Postecoglu’s Australia side that makes the trip to the FIFA World Cup in Brazil in June. He’ll be aware of the odds facing Australia in Group B, but we don’t see him as the sort of player who’s afraid to tackle the tough odds…
