If you’d had to call it a few weeks ago, you’d have thought that the clash between the Eels and the Knights would be a one-sided affair. The Eels are right in the mix for the finals spots, while the Knights are in the doldrums at the foot of the ladder. All the signs point to a change in Parramatta’s fortunes – they haven’t been able to win against the Knights in recent times – but then last week’s results have got pundits wondering if the Knights can pull off what would be a bit of an upset in 2014 to continue their good run of results against the Eels. Elsewhere the Warriors are odds-on to beat the Panthers, but the Penrith boys have put together an incredible run in the second half of the season, and you might think twice about betting against them again on Sunday. The Storm have a tricky fixture against the Dragons, and will be hoping St George can’t find the sort of form that they had in the early season, because Melbourne are right in the midst of that battle for the top eight spots, and they could do with a win!
