Paul Gallen is out through injury, but it could be that NSW are a more balanced side without him, and with some fresh, strong young legs in there, too. Certainly, there will be men in blue with a point to prove going into what could be the most exciting series decider in a long time.
But where are you betting? We’ve seen a few tempting odds beyond the head-to-head, which are $2.45 for the Blues, and $1.57 for Queensland. All the signs are pointing to a close game, and you’ll get $3.10 for NSW to take it by 12 points of fewer, and $2.60 for the Maroons to win by the same margin. Thurston is favourite to be Man of the Match at $5.50, with Robbie Farah at $6.00.
