MacKinnon Stakes draw has Viewed in nine

Caulfield Cup winner Viewed has drawn barrier nine for the 2000m group 1 MacKinnon Stakes on Saturday.The $750,000 race at Flemington is one of the major distractions to the Victoria Derby and also features Vigor, third in the Caulfield Cup earlier this month.
Latest betting markets for the race at Betfair have Rangirangdoo as the favourite on odds of 3.65.
The Chris Waller-trained galloper won in last week's group 2 Crystal Mile at Moonee Valley on Cox Plate day.
He will be ridden by Corey Brown and goes from barrier four on Saturday, while Vigor goes from seven.
Bart Cummings-trained So You Think is not in the race after the trainer said he preferred to give him a break after his win in the Cox Plate.
Cummings said of the star three-year-old: "I nominated So You Think for the Mackinnon in case we wanted to proceed, I just think he might be better given two weeks inbetween races."
He added Viewed, who will be ridden by Brad Rawiller, had looked impressive at dawn trackwork on Tuesday.
Cummings also has three confirmed and three possible entries for Tuesday's Melbourne Cup.
