Each way betting could provide decent value in Saturday's Cox plate, according to leading tipsters.

Markets for the $3 million race have been dominated all week by Whobegotyou, the Mark Kavanagh-trained star who is still the 3.20 favourite with Betfair.

But horse racing pundits are also looking further down the field at a number of in-form runners who could make the placings.

Racingbase has pointed to Zipping, who has "looked rather plump this preparation but he will have been nicely primed for this".

Third in the race last year, he has looked quicker than he did 12 months ago, and has won on the Moonee Valley track twice before.

Zipping is on odds of 4.20 each way with Centrebet, and is at 15.00 to win the race outright.

Bet-au.com's own Pom de Turf has pointed to Whobegotyou for the win due to his outstanding long-term form.

But he also pointed to the value in placings bets, giving a nod to the Gai Waterhouse-trained Manhattan rain, on 6.00 for the placings and 23.00 for the win with Centrebet.

Betfair's Kristen Manning has also pointed to El Segundo for an each way bet, on odds of 4.70 with the betting exchange.
