Racing: All The Odds For The Perth Cup

We know it’s a busy day (and night!) for most people – Racing fans included – so we’re taking a little look at the way the Racing odds for the big race are shaping up here, and, of course, we’ve got all the odds and more that you’ll need if you follow that link…
Over the 2400m of the Perth Cup this year – or rather, next year! – the favourite is most likely going to be Real Love, who is not only the bookies’ favourite, but who has been seeing lots of support from punters here in Australia and all around the world. Just about half of the money bet on the race at online bookmaker Sportsbet has been on the 4-year-old – and her form more than suggests she’ll put in a strong run. She’s coming off the back of a couple of strong wins, and she’s never known what it’s like to finish outside of the first two horses home – punters will be hoping she starts 2015 with another winning feeling!
And whilst there are a few hardly souls backing the one-time second favourite Respondent, they’re very definitely in the minority. It could be that there’s more interest in Respondent at $8.00, behind Kirov Boy at odds of $7.50, but the long-odds interest seems to be with Ihtsahymn at $15.00.
