Doomben 10000 favourite Your Song drawn in barrier 15 for Saturday’s big race

Your Song has been drawn out in the car park for Saturday’s Doomben 10000, one of Queensland’s premier races of the year.

Buffering has the 12 stall but all the pace in the race is expected to come from the side slots with Rain Affair (5), Steps in Time (6) and Epaulette (4).

Other notables are Sea Siren (9), Rangirangdoo (14) and Spirit of Boom (13).

Prior to the draw Sportsbet took am $85,000 win bet on Your Song at odds of $2.70 which is obviously a risky bet so close to the barrier draw. The bookmakers are yet to release revised barrier draw odds but it’s highly likely the odds will increase for the favourite.

The Doomben 10,000 is run over 1350m and is race 8 on Saturday’s Doomben card, due off at 3:40pm.
