Villa have turned their home form around in recent weeks which has taken them to 10th place in the league. Last week seen them secure a valuable 3 points against high flying Chelsea as they took advantage of the extra man and beat Chelsea 1-0 in a smash and grab performance. Stoke also secured 3 points in week 30 as they beat West Ham 3-1, but their away form is still a massive concern and it is now 13 games without a win on the road. With that in mind, we suggest Villa here at odds of $2.10.
Tottenham conceded to Arsenal in the very first minute last week, but despite putting up an excellent defensive display for the rest of the game, they were unable to convert any chances and ended up empty handed after the heated affair. Southampton made it 2 wins in a row with an excellent 4-2 victory over Norwich in a game which seen a lot of late goal action. Southamptons form against teams above them in the league does not read well, and with that in mind the money may be best placed on Tottenham at odds of $2.05
After a 4 game winning streak, West Ham seem to have hit a bump with back to back losses in recent weeks. This week they take on Man Utd who suffered a 3-0 thrashing at the hands of league rivals Liverpool in week 30. Both teams will be desperate to get back to winning ways, but we think the points will get shared this week. We suggest the draw here at odds of $3.60
Norwich have made it 5 games in a row unbeaten at home and are managing to stay just above the dropzone. This week they take on Sunderland in a crucial game which could have a big outcome in who leaves the Premiership this season. Sunderland are 3rd from bottom but have at least 2 games in hand on the teams around them due to cup obligations in recent weeks. They will be looking to make these count and are our pick this week at odds of $3.50
After 2 wins on the bounce, Newcastles bad form returned as they lost 1-0 to bottom of the league Fulham. Palace have won just 1 game in the last 6 and find themselves free falling back towards the relegation zone. With both teams struggling to secure points, and neither of them finding the back of the net regularly enough, it may well pay to side with Palace at odds of $4.25 as they have the better defence record of recent games.
After being eliminated from 2 cup tournaments in as many weeks, Man City will be focusing hard on the league prize now. Fulham secured a valuable 3 points in their mission to maintain Premiership status next season. They are facing a wounded Man City team who will be looking for a big win to lift the supporters, and this could be the ideal match to slot away a load of goals and put the cup exits to the back of the mind. We suggest Man City 5-0 here at odds of $15.00
Hull City were unable to stop Man City despite them going down to 10 men just 10 minutes into the game. They put together several chances but Man City were too strong and went on to win 2-0. West Brom picked up their first win of the year and first win for boss Pepe Mel as they come from 1-0 behind to win 2-1 against Swansea. They will be looking to build on that win this week and move further clear of the drop zone, and with Hullís recent home record not up to scratch they have every chance. we suggest West Brom here at odds of $3.40
Cardiff suffered an agonising defeat to Everton in week 30. After going behind 1-0, they pulled it back to 1-1 only to lose out with a late late goal from Everton. Liverpool made the trip to Old Trafford for one of the premierships most anticipated match-ups, and they did not disappoint. They managed to dominate Man Utd in every area of the pitch, picking up all 3 points in a 3-0 victory. With Liverpool in such fine form, it would be a massive shock if bottom of the table Cardiff were able to get anything out of this game. We suggest Liverpool here at odds of $1.36
Everton left it to the very last minute to beat Cardiff the weekend and pick up all 3 points in a 2-1 win. This week they face the other welsh team Swansea. Swansea lost to a West Brom side that had not won in 2014 prior to that match, that defeat took them to just 4 points above the drop zone. Evertonís Champions League dreams look over for this year, but they can still secure a place in the Europa League and a win here will help towards that. Swansea will do everything they can to avoid the drop, but Evertonís home form is one of the best in the league. We suggest an Everton win here at odds of $1.57
Chelsea suffered a shock loss in a 1-0 defeat to Villa in week 30. After going down to 10 men, Villa finally unlocked the Chelsea defence with an exquisite backheel goal. Arsenal faced Tottenham in the North London derby, and after going 1-0 up in the opening minute, they managed to hold on to the advantage and pick up all 3 points in a hard fought battle. Chelsea still maintain an unbeaten home record both this season and under Mourinho, we think this will be maintained as they take on city rivals Arsenal in what is a crucial top of the table clash. Chelsea at odds of $1.90 is our tip.
