Hull secured all 3 points as they demolished Cardiff the weekend in a 4-0 thrashing. They play host to a Newcastle team that secured their first home win of the year with a 1-0 win over Aston Villa after a Loic Remy goal late in the game. Hull’s home form has been suspect in recent weeks with only 1 win in 6, whilst Newcastles away form has been substantially better than their home form. At odds of $3.10, we think it could pay dividends to put your money on Newcastle now Remy has returned.
Fulham were so close to securing 3 points after taking the lead early against West Brom, but after failing to convert multiple chances in the game, the late West brom surge they have become known for in recent games paid dividends again as they equalized late on and finished 1-1. Chelsea left till the very last second against Everton as a late smash and grab goal from Terry secured all 3 points for the league leaders. Its top Vs bottom and it will be a massive upset if there is any other result other than a Chelsea win at odds of $1.40
Everton put up a valiant effort the weekend but were undone late on in the match losing 1-0 to Chelsea. West Ham managed to extend their winning streak to 4 on the bounce the weekend with a convincing 3-1 win over Southampton after conceding very early on in the game. West Ham have conceded just 1 goal in the last 5 matches but they face a tough match this week as they head to Everton who have lost just 1 in the last 6 at home. This could be a battle of the defenses, but we think Everton can pinch this at odds of $1.44
Norwich have managed just 6 wins all season and are being dragged into a relegation battle, just 1 point outside the drop zone after week 26. Tottenham have been impressive away from home of late and are now unbeaten in the last 7 games, winning 5 of the last 6. They will be looking for a win here to maintain their challenge for a Champions League place, but they could well come up against a defensive wall here as Norwich have not concede in the last 2 home games including holding Man City to a 0-0 draw. We suggest another draw here at odds of $3.30
Newcastle’s home form is going from bad to worse. They have now lost the last 4 games and not won at home since 2013. Aston Villa have won just 1 game on the road in the last 6 and will be looking for a vital 3 points here to put some more space between them and relegation. This looks to have all the signs of a draw. We suggest 1-1 here at odds of $7.00
Liverpool showed a great attitude as they came back twice from a losing position and went on to pick all 3 points with a late penalty conversion from Steven Gerrard. They face Swansea in week 27 who gave them a great match in a 2-2 draw last time at the Liberty stadium. However Swansea’s away form is poor this season and they are now without a win in the last 7. Getting anything from a trip to Anfield will be a tough ask with Liverpool in such good form. We suggest a Liverpool win here at odds of $1.30
Crystal Palace’s home form has seen them rise up the table and out of the relegation zone. However they have still only managed 1 points against teams in the top half of the table and this week they will play host to 7th place Man Utd. Man Utd’s season has not been as many would expect and cracks are starting to show as they have managed just 2 points from the last 9 available. We suggest the draw here at odds of $3.80
West Ham have shown good form in the last 4 weeks with 3 win, 1 draw and 0 goals conceded. They take on a Southampton side that are unbeaten in the last 6 and have only had 1 defeat in the last 6 on the road. Both teams are in great defensive form of late and this looks like it will be a hard fought draw. We suggest a 0-0 result here at odds of $9.50
West Brom are without a win in the last 6. They will be hoping to change that in week 27 and prove to Pepe Mel that they can win. They face bottom of the table Fulham who are also without a win in the last 6 overall and 4 on the road. With West Brom picking up good draws against title contenders Chelsea and Liverpool in their last 2 home games, they should be able to secure a win against the struggling Fulham team at odds of $1.72
Man City’s scoring form has eluded them in recent weeks and have not scored since week 23 now. They were favourites to go top in week 27 but their match was called off due to bad weather and they come into week 27 in 3rd place, just 3 points off the top and with a game in hand. Nothing but a win will suffice this week as they welcome a Stoke side that are now without a win in 11 on the road. We suggest Man City 4-0 here at odds of $8.50 as they return to the scoring form we are used to seeing from them.
