All eyes will be on UFC 163 on Sunday 28th July – and there’s a tasty treat in store for fans of the women’s side of the UFC, with a bout between Liz Carmouche and new arrival on the circuit Jessica Andrade. Neither woman has a great deal of experience in the UFC, to say the least – this will be Andrade’s very first appearance, and Carmouche has one bout behind her. That bout, though, back at UFC 157, was against Ronda Rousey. It didn’t come as a surprise to anybody that Carmouche tapped out of an armbar late in the first round, but she was able to genuinely compete with Rousey, which is no mean feat. She’s definitely worth her short odds of $1.17.

And then there’s the young Brazilian, Jessica Andrade. Her first UFC bout will go a long way to deciding if she’s got what it takes to compete at this level. Her odds are $4.65, but, in lots of ways, the result isn’t the most important thing for her on the 28th. She might be worth a bet at $4.65, and we’ll be watching to see how she approaches the fight, to get an idea of how she competes, because this is a step up for her, and she’ll be looking to turn a pretty good MMA record into a UFC career...
