UFC-MMA Sunday July 7th 2013: The odds and our tips
Frankie Edgar v Charles Oliveira head to head odds
A great fight is in store here, with Edgar respecting his opponent’s ability to pose him problems (if his pre-fight interviews are anything to go by), but inevitably looking beyond this bout with Oliveira to a title challenge in the not-too-distant-future. The pundits’ attention is on Edgar and his reputation for getting out of the blocks sluggishly, so perhaps take a look at a bet at for this one to go the distance – there’s plenty of Edgar V Oliveira odds to tempt you, too...
Cub Swanson v Dennis Siver head to head odds
Cub Swanson’s on the back of a good string of wins in 2012, and so the bookies have him a strong favourite at to beat Siver on the 7th, but it’s just possible that no-one’s given Dennis Siver the script – he’s just the sort of tough fighter that might stun Swanson, who will look to strike with precision, hoping to stop Siver’s onslaught cold. With plenty of money sure to be staked on either Swanson or Siver, it’s a clash of two hard-hitting featherweights, this one, and will be a cracker to watch!
Mark Munoz v Tim Boetsch head to head odds
Two fighters with backgrounds strongly favouring wrestling come together for this one, and it will be a tussle for the wrestling purists to savour. We’re excited to see what else these two can bring to the UFC that they didn’t learn in their early wrestling years, but expect the bout to be on the mat for the most part...
Tim Kennedy v Roger Gracie head to head odds
Both Kennedy and Gracie have strong submissions in their arsenal, but this one looks to be a stand-off, with neither fighter likely to want to test the strongest part of his opponent’s game. Expect to see them upright at least for a while, and we’re looking forward to seeing how these two go when made to rely on their striking...
Anderson Silva v Chris Weidman head to head odds
This is the big one, and we’re hoping that it will match the billing! Weidman is excited about his shot at the title, but he’s at and will have to overturn both the weight of history and Anderson Silva’s devastating skills to claim the spoils for himself. There’s plenty of good betting for Silva v Weidman: have a look, maybe, at Silva to win it by either KO or Submission at , or, at , for the fight to end in the second round...
