John Moraga $4.20 Bet Now

Sunday night’s UFC card is headlined by a title challenge by John Moraga against Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson, and we think it’s set to be a really watchable fight – one of several on a night that will perhaps have the casual fans more excited than the UFC purists. You can see from the odds above that ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson is a strong favourite, but he has a reputation of not closing out fights when he has the chance, so Moraga and his camp will feel like if their guy can stay in the fight, he can snatch the title for himself. Taking a look at the markets for the fight maybe gives you an idea how it will most likely go: in particular, odds of $1.44 for the fight to go the whole distance, where you’ll only get $2.66 if you’re betting that either man finds a way to finish it before the points are tallied.

There are some good bets on offer, though. You’ll get a quite long $12.25 if you’re backing a finish in the fifth round, $11.50 for the fourth, and shortening all the time to $9.20 if it ends in the first. So the bookies think that if it’s going to be decided by a stoppage or a submission, then it’ll be an early shock that’ll do it. Which of these men they think will do that, we’re not so sure of: you’ll get $4.00 for Johnson by KO or Submission, and $5.20 for Moraga by the same. Whichever way you’re betting, this one looks to be compelling...
