It’s only a year ago that Demetrious Johnson claimed the inaugural UFC Flyweight Championship, and he beat Joseph Benavidez to lift the title – so there will be some unsettled scores when they meet again when the UFC heads to Fox on Saturday 14th December. Johnson has been an excellent Champion for the new division, defending his title successfully on two occasions in the past year or so, but he will face his toughest defence yet against Benavidez, who is a different fighter from the last time they met, and who will look to push Johnson all the way to the final bell if he can’t find a way of stopping him.

Both of these fighters are great box office, and we’d watch any bout that either of them was in – so it’ll be a real treat to see them square off against one another. Both are incredibly athletic and active, bringing plenty of movement into the Octagon with them, and some excellent technical striking, too. You can see above that Johnson is the favourite at $1.71, most likely because he has beaten Benavidez before, be we reckon Benavidez has that little bit more power than the champ, and he’s really come on as a fighter since they last met.
